Culture and society has placed so many restrictions on women ...but bold and confident women cross those barriers and they break the glass ceiling! Ruth is a good example of a confident woman in the Bible, despite the fact that she was from a nation considered as inferior to God’s people (a gentile nation), and suffered great loss...she made it to the top. She left a legacy on earth and here we are still talking about her thousands of years after she lived. So many lessons to glean from the life of Ruth! She went through a lot but she did not confuse her identity with her situation. Ruth shows us that it’s possible to be humble yet confident and courageous! That being humble is not being weak, and being strong is not being proud! I pray this blesses you!
