This marks one of the last things to ‘complete’ the MINI build. Since I upgraded the suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, transmission, and a bunch of aesthetics, I never got around to fixing the first thing you would notice on my car, the bumper covers. The previous owner never replaced them, and because they weren’t in great condition, I was able to scoop up my car at a lowered price. Well the box for the JCW Aero kit was never checked when it was purchased at the dealership. Doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade later.. Not only does the JCW Aero kit look more aggressive and appealing, but the add-ons make it functional. The brake ducts direct the cool air from the front of the car to the hot brakes, and the rear diffuser attaches to the flat-bottom to increases downforce without adding drag. Not only that, but the wide body fender flares make an appearance again, and this time for good!! It has been long awaited and feels the most complete in a long time. I’m so happy how it turned out.
