He works with governments and the private sector. He worked as a neurology doctor in London and Oxford, and has published numerous academic papers, which the BBC, New York Times, and The Economist have covered. He has appeared on CNN and the BBC, and regularly contributes to outlets like Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, the Atlantic, and Slate. --- Dr. Cindy Gordon is the CEO and Founder of SalesChoice. She has held senior executive roles with Accenture, Xerox, and Citicorp, as well as being a venture capitalist. She is a Forbes AI Thought Leader and teaches Responsible AI in leading institutions, including Arizona State University, George Brown College, and the United States AI Institute. She is also a board advisor to the AI Forum and to innovative AI companies, including Kaji and Tallywell. Dr. Gordon is a Science Technology Education and Math (STEM) advocate for stronger diversity, equity, and inclusiveness leadership and has led many STEM advocacy organizations, including acting as former CATA Chair for Women in Technology, and as a former President of the Xerox Diversity Council, etc. Dr. Gordon is a community activist and led the Canadian public engagement on legislative changes for equity crowdfunding to modernize new security laws in Canada. She has also won many AI awards, including, most recently, the CEO for AI Ethics in North America, Digital CEO of the Year Award, AI Disruptive Innovation Technology Award, Mindbridge AI Leadership Award, EY/CATA - CEO Sara Kirke Innovator Award, and many others. She has written 16 books, the most recent being The AI Precipice: An Executive Guide to Balance Innovation and Safety. Dr. Gordon is a certified board director and holds an ICD.D. designation. She has an honorary doctorate in Applied AI and a doctorate in Complexity Sciences and Social Networking, with executive certifications from MIT, etc. --- Jessica Pezim is a Client Partner at Bedford, where she leads the execution team and plays a strategic role in delivering executive search and leadership advisory solutions. She brings extensive executive search and strategic consulting experience, specializing in placing senior executives with global, national, and regional clients across Financial Services, Real Estate, Professional Services and Private Equity. Since joining Bedford in 2018, she has been instrumental in identifying and securing top talent, ensuring a seamless search execution process. Prior to Bedford, Jessica built a strong foundation in talent management at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). As a Director in the Executive Talent Management Group, she supported Capital Markets, Commercial Banking and Wealth, shaping leadership pipelines and succession strategies. Earlier in her career, she led Campus Recruitment and Student Programming for Capital Markets before expanding to oversee enterprise-wide Campus Recruiting efforts at CIBC. Jessica holds a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from Western University. She is called to the Ontario Bar and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
