This property of nearly 27 hectares includes both sides of the head of a small valley, and the way the lower end of the valley curves around to the right, it feels like living in a volcano crater. There are no houses to be seen and no neighbors barking dogs or crowing roosters can be heard. The neighbors, who ar very friendly, all live on the outside of the ‘volcano’, so the place feels very secluded, remote, and wild although it is only a five minute drive on a nice dirt road to the Pan American Highway, the best road in the area, which allows quick access to shopping in Vilcabamba. The house has two floors and the house is built with it’s back into the hillside so theupstairs looks like a small house at ground level. There are two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. there is a large livingroom, a big fireplace room which is at the back, feeling more like a cave. The front has large windows to make it feel more open to the fantastic viws. There are four toilets, one upstairs and three downstairs, two of those are fluch toilets and one is a dry composting toilet. There is a washroom with large shower, a kitchen with pantry, and an outside kitchen. There is a large storage room and saferoom with a steel backed door and steel door frame, with a heavy duty door latch on the inside. The kitchen needs cabinets,which is good, because you can pickthe style that you like, The back wall of the kitchen needs tile, so you get to pick that too. The hosue is built to the hisghest standards, the concrete and steel columns go two meters under the floor and are connected to very large and heavy one meter square footings. The downstairs si built like a concrete bunker, with solid cocrete walls in back and double thichness walls in front in order to hade the columns. In some houses you can see columns in the middl of the larger rooms, or in the side walls, butnot in this one, the columns are on the outside surface of the walls so are unseen, and the cement ceiling has very high strength steel reinforced concrete beams in order to avoid coulns in the middle of the large living room. There is a rainwater catch system on the upstairs roof a huge water cistern where water gathers naturally because it is located at a spring. There is large cemetn water storage tank and a couple of big plastic tanks above the house, to provide water pressure. The water here comes from ridge top springs on this property and has been tested to show it is the purest water in the world at only 28 PPM disolved solids. The water here is so pure it is delicious. The property includes a mountain top with outstanding 360 degree views of endless mountain ranges and some great sunsets, There are several flat spots that make excellent building sites for guest houses or community living. One of the upper flat spots has great views like the mountain top does. The flat spots and mountaintop all have easy road access. There is electical power with a ten kilowatt transformer, 110 and 220 volt electricity, and the power supply cable is buried underground so that there are no electical cables overhead. The valley is shielded from cellphone radiation so there is no cellphone sevice here, but there is a satelite phone which is a home phone. There is an intenet antenna on a nearby ridge that communicates with giant internet antenna on a mountain top far to the south via a radio link, so there is fast internet and wifi. You can use wired routers or wifi here. The landscape has a lot of character, with cliffs visible and the largest estoraque “land pillar” in the province, which gives the place a special energy. Several different psychics have told me that there are three ley lines that cross at this location which is very rare, and makes this special place a locatin of great power. A lot of people who come here remark on the amazing cleaness and sparkle of the energy and the peacefulness and power they feel here. It is truly a special place for the right people. There is a vegetable garden next to the house, plus an orchard. There are many citrus trees, giant sour lemons, sweet lemons, sweet oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit. Other trees are avocado, mango tropical cherry, nispero, apple, mulberry, and four green tea trees. There are thimble berries, blackberries, and Inca berries that grow wild here.
