Sanding our Rusty Sprinter Van | DIY Raptor Liner pt. 3

Hi all! This week we're sanding... and sanding... and sanding some more! Seriously, so much sanding was required to get the van to a state where it would be ready to prime. I think we underestimated the time it would take to sand the entire van, but lucky for you and the magical power of editing, we crammed it all into one video (albeit a long video...) The order of events we followed was: Grind or sand rust spots to bare metal, where you can see the rust spot itself, bare metal, the original primer of the van, and then the original paint of the van (timestamp 1:45) 220 grit sand the entire van Go back over to find any missed spots Wipe entire van with wax and grease remover to remove dust and oils Apply rust converter to rust areas Allow rust converter to sit for at least 24 hours (we left it on longer in some spots as we didn't want any surface rust to return while the van was sitting and we were continuing to do other areas of it. So we figured better to leave the rust converter on longer and not have any bare metal showing that could potentially rust again) That's kinda it for this video! Next week we finalllyyyyyy start priming and get some bondo done as well. And I think we'll also get to spraying the raptor liner as well!
