Our home base for this adventure is in the beautiful Timberline Campground which is located 5 minutes from Beulah Michigan and the impressive Crystal Lake! Timberline is located in Benzonia Michigan and is an easy drive away from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Traverse City. Lake Michigan itself can be reached in about 15 minutes with a quick drive to Frankfort Michigan and the beautiful Crystal lakes is only five minutes away from the campground. This changed EVERYTHING again and opened up new opportunities for telework and, once again, made us realize life is short.
