Former Adventist Fellowship Conference, February 17–19, 2017 We will be seeking biblical answers to the following: What is Life Assurance? How do we get Life Assurance? When do we get Life Assurance? How long does Life Assurance last? Can we lose our Life Assurance? How do we know we have Life Assurance? We will examine a number of references from Scripture, primarily from the gospel of John and the writings of Paul regarding eternal life, the assurance of salvation, and what it means to be born again. We will also consider how to minister to someone who claims to be a Christian but is living in a lifestyle of sin. Dale Ratzlaff is the founder of Life Assurance Ministries, Inc., which publishes Proclamation! magazine, and LAM Publications, LLC. He was a fourth-generation Seventh-day Adventist and pastored in the church for 13 years, seven of which he spent as a Bible teacher at Monterey Bay Academy, La Selva Beach, California. Near the end of his doctoral program at Andrews University in the 1980’s, Dale did an in-depth study of the investigative judgment and the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary, events which Adventists teach began in 1844. Becoming convinced he could no longer teach this doctrine in clear conscience, he and his wife Carolyn left the Adventist denomination. Dale and Carolyn reside in Camp Verde, Arizona.
