Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds is a point-and-click adventure game released in 1994 by Humongous Entertainment. It’s the very first game in the Freddi Fish series and an absolute classic for anyone who grew up playing '90s edutainment games. I only owned a demo as a kid, so playing a full version was an amazing experience! The story starts when Freddi visits Grandma Grouper, only to find out that her treasure chest full of kelp seeds has been stolen! Of course, Freddi jumps right into action to save the day. Soon she’s joined by her goofy but lovable buddy Luther, and together they dive into an underwater adventure filled with clues, puzzles, and mystery. Gameplay is super simple — just click around, collect stuff, and solve light puzzles to move the story forward. There’s also a little minigame called Jellyfish Jamboree, where you throw food at sea critters before they get too close. I tried to click on every possible thing, so you can see different animations. I sadly skipped the volcano part when I played the game for the first time.
