On Words Matter with Kel Richards, Sky News host Peta Credlin sits down with Mr Richards to discuss the correct pronunciations of certain English words. Wordsmith Kel Richards reveals how to correctly pronounce often-misspoken words, such as forehead, schedule, router, data, and mischievous. He also teaches a nursery rhyme which helps to remember the old way of pronouncing certain words. Mr Richards says a lot of existing words now have different pronunciations due to different generations speaking them in a certain way. “When we die, that pronunciation will die,” he told Ms Credlin.
