In this Max/MSP tutorial I build a granular synthesiser using a single instance of gen~ using codebox. This video is not aimed at beginner Max users, and is not supposed to be an intro to gen~ either, but if you're struggling to get your head around making gen~ patches with codebox, then this could help boost your confidence. If you'd just like to make a granular synthesiser then you could follow along and enjoy granularising the heck out of your samples. Granular synthesis is used widely in a range of different music genres and sound design. I even used it for my toneparticle tutorials intro music!
