Mead is the oldest, healthiest, least labor intensive and most environmentally friendly form of alcohol to make and has a rich history in our region. If you would like to learn about Mead, where to find it and or how to make/brew it this might just be the presentation for you! While no beverages will be included, the knowledge you will gain may yet serve to fill your cup! Kyle Joyner has lived in Helena for the past six years. In addition to being an avid hiker and active member of the Helena community, he has previously served on the board of Helena Young Professionals and has enjoyed performing on stage at Helena Avenue Theater. However, his passion is making wine - Mead, to be specific - and sharing such with others. Kyle has been making mead for 10 years and greatly enjoys crafting a wide variety of meads as there is a coat of many flavor profiles to be found and forged within the realm of this vintage.
