And the actor appeared to read the mind of his daughter, Stella Breeze Baker, 24, on Friday, with the pair both sporting dark-toned outfits.Strolling around the upscale Noho neighbourhood of New York City, the father-daughter duo looked relaxed as Stella locked arms with her famous father. At one point, Stella, who is his daughter with long-time wife Rebecca Rigg, appeared casually look around the city streets while pursing her lips. For the outing, Simon kept it casual on the chilly New York morning, wearing a tight navy blue sweater, which showed the Launceston-born actor is still reasonably buff. The actor, who rose to fame on Australian soap E-Street, teamed the sweater with a pair of blue track pants and Adidas NMD joggers. The actor kept his trademark blonde hair cropped but opted for a touch of scruff on his face.Meanwhile, Stella appeared to feel the cold morning as well, choosing a similarly casual look in a ribbed black pullover, along with a pair of short shorts and tights. The L.A Confidential star's blonde daughter finished the look by acessorising with a pair of black sunglasses and a gold chain. Speaking to GQ magazine, the actor, who was 24 when Stella was born, said that his wife and family were the secret to his success in La La Land. 'When we arrived [in the US], I had a child and responsibilities. As a result, I viewed the concept of success as being able to provide for my family,' he told GQ Australia in 2015. 'To achieve this, I had to deliver consistent performances, be professional on and off set… my circumstances have never allowed me to be selfish and that's contributed to the success we've had in America.'
