Graduation Fans using Cricut - With Sound - Scroll Fan

Create your own graduation fan using a scroll found from google, clipart, or shapes. You can follow this same method with a graduation cap as well! The steps are below: -Open DS (I was just looking at the updates) -I already had it saved but went to upload -Found the Scroll I have saved on my computer -Used magic eraser for what I wanted to remove -You see I did it 4x to show the difference based on what you keep/remove - this will work for any shape/image you import. Use PNGs or b/w based images for best results. -Inserted the 4 images I uploaded -Separated them so I could see them each on the mat -Uploaded the graduate's picture as a pattern -Let it save in the background - went back to my canvas -Uploaded, went back to canvase -Clicked the layer I want to affect and went under patterns (will only show if your layer is set to print) -took a while to load because DS is dragging this morning -Applied the pattern to each layer so you could see the difference in how it would apply based on what I took out with the eraser -Knowing that the first layer with just the outline wouldn't look right, I changed this to a gold texture pattern I already have in my patterns library. -Continued and applied pattern to each layer - not how it applies differently based on what is taken out/left -Duplicated the outline layer so I could show how it would look on the other layers -Centered it and made sure it aligned properly -Grouped them -Inserted text and moved it where I'd like it (needed a different color) -Flattened image -Make it - verify the size you'd like before sending off to print.
