Many Alienated Children will not get to see their Alienated Mother or Father at Christmas or even recieve their Christmas Present from them or their extended family. This iniative dreamed up by an alienated Dad is supported by the Alienated Mums & Dads & Grandparents represented by Alienated Children First in Ireland. Parents send the names of their Children to ACF and they are written on a wooden heart and the hearts are put up on the ACF Christmas Tree on the Avenue of Light in the grounds of the Church of Ireland, Virginia, Co.Cavan. For more details email [email protected] Parental Alienation has been described by the Present Irish Minister of Justice Helen McEntee as “a situation when a child’s resistance or hostility towards one parent is not justified and is the result of psychological manipulation by the other parent.” Previously no Irish Minister even acknowledged that Parental Alienation even existed yet the problems caused by its existance continue climbing. Lifelong trauma for alienated children (and parents) is well known and researched yet no legislation or social services are in place to address this awful form of child abuse & coercive control. Alienated Children First are a parent's led NGO who hope to change this and influence Ireland to intervene and stop parental alienation through legislation, effective services, education and awareness.
