Rio Yankee or Malibou as we call him is a gorgeous 16.2 HH Registered AQHA grullo gelding. This big boy quickly became the barn favorite. If you don't fall in love with his color you sure will with his big heart. Malibou is a dream to ride. He listens to leg and seat cues, making him a breeze to ride. Malibou has been on lots of trails and on the road; traffic doesn't faze him at all. He will cross logs, water, brush, or any other obstacle you may meet on the trail. He rides great in the arena as well. He picks up both leads and lopes in a nice circle. He will definitely build your confidence. Malibou has also helped move our stock and is not afraid of camels, longhorns, ostriches, and many other animals. Malibou also rides in English tack and we have taken him over jumps and he loves it.
