First Ever Commission! Gorgeous Trivet in custom colors.

Welcome to my channel! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Thank you so much for being here! Today’s video was recorded, and this piece was created, back in November, however, it is just now debuting on my channel because this piece is my very first commission! I wanted to save the video until after the gift was given. This was an amazing experience for me collaborating to create something customized for someone else. I enjoyed it so much and to be quite honest, I’m extremely proud of the product. Enjoy this process video! I have one more video that was recorded in the fall that will be released this weekend. Then my content will be my “winter activities” such as practice brush painting. This traditional dutch pour style piece uses the following colors: Base: Amsterdam white/mix of Prussian blue with a little dioxazine purple Flow colors: hooker green, greenish blue, TLP sea glass, Pebeo iridescent green yellow, turquoise green, cerulean blue, dioxazine purple Pouring medium used is Soby Recipe for Success, my very favorite medium to use for pieces like this using the blow dryer. Not recorded: Resin application with KS Resin. I used two thin layers of resin, painstakingly making sure bubbles were popped and drips were scraped each time to make tape removal easier to avoid any issues of lifting on the sides.
