PCB in a few steps. The PCB in house productions starts with a the easy setup of a project and the intuitive import of standard Gerber files in the LPKF CircuitPro software. The data processing take the available tools in account and a generate based on a distance and time optimized routines the milling lines. First mechanical step after material placement are the drill holes and the fiducials. The precise milling depth adjustment of the tools to remove the copper from the FR4 is supported by the integrated camera and CircuitPro software. After flipping the PCB and milling the second FR4 side the layout get finally cut out of the material. The number and position of the break out tabs was de-fined in the data preparation at the beginning. The LPKF ProtoMat E44 comes together with the LPKF CircuitPro software and is the perfect tool for sporadically production of PCB layout or adapter boards as well for educational projects for printed circuit technology.
