A fresh twist in the Delhi acid attack case has shocked the nation. Delhi Police arrested the father of the girl who was allegedly attacked with acid over rape charges. The father of the girl also confessed to orchestrating the acid attack to frame the main accused, Jitender, say sources. The development came as police were probing the alleged acid attack on a 20-year-old Delhi University student. During the probe, police found that the girl's father, Akil Khan, tried to rape Jitendra's wife and also shared her obscene photos. Jitender's wife filed a rape complaint, leading to the registration of an FIR. To evade the case, police said, Akil and his daughter fabricated the acid attack story. Police revealed that Akil & his daughter plotted the aid attack to implicate Jitender and his two aides — Ishan and Arman. ..............................................................................................
