In Australia, we have a problem with feral birds. Tamworth Birdwatchers Inc. (TBW) are concerned that the increasing number of feral birds are having a negative impact on our native birds. They compete for food, nesting and roosting sites, and damage agricultural production and infrastructure. Feral birds include Common Mynas, Starlings, Sparrows, Rock Doves, Blackbirds, Spotted Doves. One of our long-serving members, 94-year-old Eric, has been making these traps for many years. He is the presenter in this video and Annabel has written the accompanying Instructions. We would like to thank them for their contribution. These instructions can be found on TBW website tamworthbirdwatchers.com/ under the Resources section. Also find us on Facebook. The video was made possible by a grant from Tamworth Regional Landcare Association trla.org.au/ – thank you TRLA. The video was created by Matt Foley of Folmac Video Productions.
