This is Metro Awakening VR, a made for VR prequel to the first game in the core series Metro 2033. Made by the studio behind The Arizona Sunshine series and After the Fall, Developer Vertigo Games takes us back to the claustrophobic subways stations and frigid eradiated surface of the series earlier titles. Forgoing the open world nature of Exodus, Metro Awakening looks to deliver something a little more focused. As a huge fan of the first 2 titles in the series, Metro Awaking looks to deliver more of what I loved about those games but levelled up for Virtual Reality. Next to Bioshock, a Metro game in VR is one of my most wanted games for VR. I’ve played it across all 3 platforms, so stick around and I’ll tell you my thoughts.
