We also solve the same problem using algebra, so as to compare the two methods. Question being solved is given below: Linda’s father is 6 years older than her mother. Linda is 30 years younger than her father. The total age of Linda and her parents is 138 years. a. What is Linda’s age? b. What is the ratio of Linda’s age to her mother’s age?
