Making Fantasies Come True: One Story at a Time So I am trying to fall back in love with my faith as I reflect and grow in my relationship with God. I plan on reading more spiritual and religious books to grow in others' journeys to finding God. I want to continue to read the Bible with the Bible in a Year Podcast with Father Mike. I am going to continue to pray at least one rosary a day. And I want to work on my picture books about saints... maybe in hopes of sending them to priests to get their feedback, for I still want to publish them. I really appreciate your guys' investment in this little channel where I am documenting my life as I become a full-time author. My name is Michelle, and this is the Chaotic Kitz channel. On this channel, we talk about writing in my three different pen names, my spiritual journey, and my life as someone who has some sort of dissociative disorder that involves having alters (I have not been officially diagnosed, but that's mostly because I live in the middle of nowhere, and going to get tested would cost over 10K dollars. So it is kind of out of the playing cards for right now.) But basically, the Chaotic Kitz channel is a place for me, and my alters… mostly the authors in my system… to talk about their books. I write under three different pen names, and each has its own niche topic. There is Shelly, who writes middle-grade books that were inspired by our nieces and nephews. Then there is Grace, who writes Christian Fiction novels about real-life teenagers who are going through different mental health issues while trying to reconnect with their faith. Grace also writes picture books about different saints. Then there is also Maris, who writes fantasy adventure stories that have been playing in our head since we were kids. Right now, we are really trying to focus on getting the Grace Kitz pen name off the ground, so we are pushing really hard to get our first novel (called JJ’s story) off the ground to a point where we are querying it. The goal is to start querying in early 2027. But we have to remember that we do Shelly’s books out in the world, and the story is not over yet, so we will need to set some time aside to get back to working on it.
