Bored by the monotony of life you decide to look for a new, more exciting career. By a stroke of luck you are given the opportunity to become a professional racecar driver. Jumping at the opportunity you race to the track to find a brand new type of track as well as a brand new type of car, able to stay attached to the racing surface even as it goes beyond vertical! You waltz up to a panel of judges sitting in the bleachers and ask where your interview would be. They point to a nearby car and tell you that you will have a single lap around the track to impress them. If you do so, they agree to hire you on their racing team. If you fail, you will be forced to go back to your old, boring job. And if you crash, well, lets not talk about that. Will you be forced back to your life of monotony or will you take this opportunity and find a good way to get real gone? Apex started out as a small project just to get me back into the flow of No Limits 2 after a fairly long break but quickly turned into my largest project yet! All supports are custom made in No Limits 2. In addition, all buildings and trenches were made in SketchUp. Apex features a 2.1 G launch from 0 to 80 mph as well as the fastest inversion in the world! There are 6 other inversions in addition to this barrel roll including the world's tallest inversion and world's tallest double inversion at 218'. It was heavily based off The Steel Curtain at Kennywood and Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America.
