Cities Leading The Way In Climate Adaptation And Mitigation: Supporting Roles For Planning Professionals And Educators Webinar Hosted Jointly by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning’s Climate Action Committee & the American Planning Association (APA) This webinar will feature implemented and in-process climate projects and programs in cities from a broad range of geographies, city sizes, and political environments to better understand their impetus, processes, obstacles, and evidence of impact. A panel of city professionals in planning and climate will discuss these exemplars to aid other communities in generating ground-up climate adaptation and mitigation response at the city level. This discussion will also foster networks and coordination for place-based scholarship between cities, the American Planning Association, and planning scholars from schools in the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
