DENIZLI is a city in Aegean Turkey and the seat of the province of Denizli. The city encompasses the urban parts of the districts Merkezefendi and Pamukkale, with a population of 651,200 as of 2022. DENIZLI MUSEUM also known as the Denizli Atatürk and Ethnography Museum, is a national museum in Denizli, Turkey. Established in 1984, it is a historic house museum dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, also known as Mustafa Kemal Pasha until 1921. It also exhibits ethnographic items. Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, visited Denizli on 4 February 1931 and stayed in this house. It was later bought by the Ministry of Culture and established as a museum. BAYRAMYERI SQUARE Square is a public square where you can easily find various products, from clothes to glassware, from stationery to jewelry stores, and the copper bazaar. Notable structures in the square include the mosque and fountain. ATATÜRK PARK, located in the city center and worn out by time, was reorganized and put into service for the citizens by the Denizli Municipality. It has become a frequented place due to its central location and new renovations. The park now offers expanded common use areas, benches and seats for hundreds of people, increased green space covering all sides, a dedicated section for children with play groups, and a municipal cafeteria. Denizli Municipality makes great efforts to transform even small empty spaces in the city center into green areas for public use.
