I've just come through a rather nasty cold, and my throat is feeling the consequences. I'm hoping to produce content on a somewhat more reliable schedule though, so I figured this would be a low-key enough thing to cover while I'm still slightly under the weather. Just a quiet rambling about gaming surfaces, and maps. I also applied an update to the (rather rudimentary) video editing software I've been using. I'm not sure I'm happy with all the changes, but it uses a different compression codec by default now, which cuts my file sizes dramatically, as well as consequentially making upload much faster. (Under two hours for what would normally take at least four.) This should make it easier for me to find time to post new videos. (If it cuts the quality in a noticeable way though, I'll switch back to the codec I had been using.)
