This time I’m watching Hacksaw Ridge (2016) for the very first time! I cried a lot during this one - war films really get to me but I enjoy them the most. I was deeply moved by Desmond Doss and his incredible story: his struggle as a conscientious objector, his dedication to serving in the army, and the sheer number of lives he saved. Even though it was emotional and intense, I’m so glad I watched this inspiring film.
