A clean shaven Kirk Windstein led his elite band of sludge metal marauders to the top of Mount Doom for a night of sonic decimation and soaring metallic grandeur. This was CROWBAR at their most tightly wound and BULLETPROOF after 6 straight months of touring, starting in the U.S. and then to all parts of Europe and back in support of their third album, "Time Heals Nothing", released in May of that year. This looked to be their homecoming show. Highlights of this gig include: ZEPPELIN’S Owner, Guy LaRocca announcing CROWBAR!!.. with that thick, regional accent; Kirk bellowing, “Ji-mmy!!" a few times when he wanted some extra stank on those big breakdowns; and of course, "Black Wylde" hanging upside down from the lighting truss whilst headbanging like it was a new Olympic sport! All in all, CROWBAR delivered a master class on musical power and EXCELLENCE for their hometown fans who lapped it up with feverish delight and Dan Ram was there to witness. This footage consists of the first 9 songs of CROWBAR’s set and was shot from a variety of vantage points including: out front and center, stage level on Matt Thomas’s side... and belly-to-the-stage, three feet in front of the Riff Lord, himself.
