In this traditional coppersmith workshop in Zanjan, I filmed a group of skilled artisans shaping copper sheets into a handcrafted Aftabeh o Lagan — a classic Persian water-pouring set. They used spinning lathes, hand tools, and brass soldering to join the parts. The final wash and polish happened in a metal basin half-covered with ice. Yes — it was filmed on one of the coldest days of winter. I ended the video by washing my hands with the finished Aftabeh, pouring water into its shining copper bowl.
