This boat is the ideal trailerable weekender. The Bayliner 192 is about expanding your horizons and getting away from it all, whether that’s for the day or for the whole weekend. This 2006 example is equipped with everything you need to get the most from the boat – including full camper canvas enclosure and a great twin axle, easy-launch, UK trailer. She is also fitted with a Simrad VHF Radio and Navman combination chart plotter/fish finder. With this boat you can get where you’re going with ease and have a ball when you get there. A huge bonus with this boat is that it is fitted with a Mercruiser 4.3L V6 190HP motor, delivering refined running and excellent performance. This boat is one of the only 192 Discovery’s that I have seen with the 4.3L power plant and for me it makes a big difference to the useability of the boat. The boat planes easily with less than half throttle and pushes on to a maximum speed well in excess of 40mph. This all means that even with a full load on board you’ll still have enough power to pull skiers and watertoys, or if you get caught out on a bad day around the coast you can get home safely in a hurry. One of the most practical US sportboats that you will ever come accross, the Bayliner 192 is extremely easy to own and use. The fibreglass lined, self-bailing cockpit is not only a great safety feature but also easy to keep clean. There is bags of storage throughout the boat (including fully lined and draining lockers) and an versatile seating layout that you can easily configure for sitting, eating, fishing or lounging on board. The cabin on the boat is impressive for a 19 footer and boasts full sitting headroom for a few adults and plenty of room for a couple to comfortably overnight in. This boat was built in 2006 and has had only one owner from new. It is obvious that she has been well looked after; treated to the accessories that she needed, with a full service history and never kept in the water. The boat is in pristine condition. All the onboard equipment is in full working order. The engine is starting on the first turn of the key and running very sweetly. With this boat you really can just hook it up to the tow bar on a Friday evening or Saturday morning and head off for a weekend on fun on the water, with total peace of mind.
