#CProFishing #TreasureCoastFishing #SnookFishing We left the ramp around noon looking to get on the Snook bite. We loaded the live well full of Pilchards and headed to the St Lucie Inlet. The Treasure Coast of Florida is one of the best Snook fisheries in the world. The water was tannin from all of the rain and discharges we have had recently. We found Snook ambushing bait as they swam around the jetty with the tide. Using 40 pound flourocarbon leader and 5/0 hooks I began pitching Pilchards at busting Snook. With a bunch of smaller fish mixed in we missed several hook sets, but were able to land two including a nice slot fish in a short amount of time. Unfortunately motor trouble caused us to leave them biting after about 30 minutes
