Here is an attempt to propose an upgraded version for Gradius on NES (by Konami), using the Mesen scripting feature. Please note I am not an artist, or graphic designer, all is not perfect from an artistic and visual point of view. This is here an very first version, where I applied the new graphics for the first level of this game I enjoyed a lot when I was a kid. Level two is under construction. As I am not able to patch the audio for the game, the sound is the one found on original NES version. Resolution is 4x the native one, which may cause some slowdown and loss of frame rate.
