We'll bring together leading building modeling experts in Architecture, Engineering, Construction and related industries to provide a platform for discussion of challenges and accomplishments when using models for design, construction and building operations. We will start with a two brief 10-minute summary on the topic from respected experts in the field, and then engage in a moderator-led discussion, taking questions from attendees to fuel the conversation. Scott Buchanan - MEP Subject Matter Expert at Autodesk We will look at leveraging the Autodesk Construction Cloud and desktop solutions such as Autodesk Navisworks and Revit for clash and coordination resolution. Heather Worrell - Director of Design Delivery/Associate Principal/Architect at RATIO Architects Gautham Prasad - Virtual Construction Manager at Messer Construction Having a client that is BIM savvy, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, has pushed their project team to utilize more aspects of BIM360 for clash detection/coordination than on previous projects. Having a team that sees the value is even more vital. Heather Worrell (Architecture) will review her history of setting up models and views to ready them for MEP engineers who are utilizing the Model Collaboration module. She will then hand it over to Gautham Prasad (Construction Management) to show us how he is using Navisworks in the cloud to run an effective clash detection design meeting. Laura Keyser - BIM/VDC Coordinator at Clancy & Theys Construction Company We will discuss how the Construction Cloud is currently being utilized for clashes and lessons learned. #BIM #AEC #Revit #MEP #Navisworks #Autodesk
