Lost Samsung phone found while scuba diving the Deschutes River. On this river treasure hunt, we find lost Gucci Sunglasses & more! You never know what you're going to find when treasure hunting, especially when you go scuba diving to hunt for treasure in a river. On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out to scuba dive the Deschutes River running through The Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon, knowing that it's always a goldmine of treasure in the summer months with 500-1000 people floating the river on inner tubes, kayaks, rafts, stand up paddle boards (SUP) and more. Not only were a pair of Gucci sunglasses found, there was also a Samsung cell phone, bottles, cans and other river garbage. We even found a hunk of metal history dating back to the early 1900's. It feels good volunteering our diving time to clean up the local rivers, lakes, and ponds.
