There are a ton of great amenities, you’re not far from both Atlanta and Chattanooga in Dalton, and Dalton Georgia is right off of I-75. You really can’t beat the location! However, there are a few cons for you to know about, so let’s dive in and take a look at the good and the bad of living in Dalton Georgia today! First off, Dalton Georgia is really centrally located, like I mentioned before. You’re close to the freeway and located between several other large cities outside of Atlanta, and you’re also just a short drive away from the Chattanooga Tennessee border as well. You really can get to everything from Dalton! Their downtown is also really nice, and it offers tons of restaurants, great shopping, and its iconic peacock statues all around town. They also take pride is keeping their downtown area really nice, with beautiful murals around town, nicely kept sidewalks, and so much more. There are a few cons… like the potholes that you’ll find from time to time. Additionally, just like most of Northwest Georgia, Dalton does experience some severe weather every once in a while, so you need to be prepared for that. That being said, most of the time the weather is beautiful here, and with so much to see, do, and eat, Dalton will not disappoint!
