starting Riddle of the Sands at the end: Ostamahorn

On my way up from Amsterdam to Flensburg (where Carruthers & Davies start their adventures together), it made sense to look in the little port where The Riddle of the Sands actually ends. This is due to be 26th October on the bookmapping journey (next year?) - see http://riddleofthesands.pbworks.com/2.... Logistically, it's quite hard to see how one gets here from Nordeich, especially now there's the bloody big barrier of the N361 and a huge dam at Lauwersoog preventing anyone from swanning into these waters without permission. At the moment it feels like ferries might be the answer, connecting via Rottum island. Anyone with any knowledge about Friesian ferries please get in touch.
