Globally, 1 in 6 individuals lives with a disability, which may be visible or non-visible, and can result from aging. In order to meet the intersectional barriers facing women and people with disabilities, Opportunity and our financial service partners have been championing ways to ensure that our services are accessible and inclusive. In this webinar, you'll hear from three champions: Opportunity International Australia’s gender and disability inclusion advocate, the chief operating officer of KOMIDA in Jakarta, and the head of transformation at Opportunity Bank of Uganda. Fifi Rashando will share Opportunity’s inclusion policy, as well as analysis tools for market research, project and product design, and evaluation. Faris Amir, head of social performance management, will share KOMIDA’s experience including 16,000 women with disabilities through accessible financial services, and Margaret Namazzi will talk about women’s participation in mainstreaming disability inclusion at Opportunity Bank of Uganda, Ltd., experience now being replicated in Rwanda. The session is moderated by Sally Vicaria, Global Executive Director of Opportunity International. READ: "How can inclusion work if it leaves people out?"
