This is our 1st test of our Squire Kayak Catamaran prototype motor version on 16 Oct 2012 at Marvilla Beach Resort, Opol, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. We started late about 4PM already so the beach is deserted and a weekday too. We call this product SquireCat:Motor. The SquireCat:Motor kit is only suitable for Squire kayaks, The outboard motor is not included on the pricing because you can use from 3HP up to 10HP and maybe even 15HP. We are using a 5HP Parsun OBM. The application for this range from family outing, casual boating run, snorkel, scuba diving, fishing, simple rescue, and much more. Testing a prototype is a daunting task. You'll never know what's gonna happen. But we saw our prototype pass in flying colors. This is also our first outboard motor. None of us has handled an OBM before. Thus, a few confusion and argument on the video. We will be doing further testing soon.
