S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Heart of Chornobyl #1,415: Sid_Stashes_Emptyinherited_Name

I left Yaniv Station on a damp, wet and overcast morning, going out the front main gate and across the road to the bluff that overlooked the lowlands. Going down the path that descended and went towards the abandoned Spark bunker, where I met a Loner squad going to Yaniv. I veered to the south that went deeper into a marshy area, where I found a dead Bandit that had already been looted. Then I met a second squad of Loners. To my surprise all three Loners were Black. This is the first time I had seen a squad of all Black Stalkers of any Faction. I talked to them and they were going north too. I left the lowlands and entered the Red Forest and went to the container camp, where I met three Freedom soldiers. I went around the camp looking in the containers again for anything I might have missed. The sunny skies soon gave way to cloudy skies, and it started raining. Then the Snorks attacked and I killed several coming out of the Bulldoser Cave to the east and one Snork ran into camp, leaped and smacked into me as I blasted it. I decided to enter the Bulldoser Cave, where I found one dead Snork and kept going through one tunnel until I came out in an opening to the south. I got out and went up the embankment looking at the exit below me. Sure, enough a Snork had followed me out and I blasted it as it came up after me. I went back in the Cave and met another Snork I shot. I continued going deeper in the tunnels, coming out into the circular area, where a Bulldoser must have collapsed the roof and dropped inside. The tunnels were too small and narrow to have been made by the Bulldoser. I used my HUD to direct me to the stash when I got close. I had passed by it on my first visit there, as it was well hidden among some tree roots. The contents were nothing special, just two kinds of ammo, food, medical supplies, an energy drink and a couple of grenades. I was almost expecting it to be empty, due to the bugged PDA message. I exited the cave at that other exit going south. I wandered through the woods going west, until I came to an open area leading down into the Quarry. This is where I met a large group of Bandits, that I got into a quick firefight with. When it was over, I went to loot the dead. The first body I found was an unlucky Corps member who had been ambushed. Next to his body was a rare Saiga shotgun. I went next to loot all the Bandits and then I left the area, taking the path north back to the container camp. The Freedom soldiers were still there, being the farthest north that I had seen any Freedom. I continued north soon leaving the Red Forest and entering the lowlands as I made it back safely to Yaniv Station. That was good timing as the weather got stormy and then an Emission arrived. Game Note: Previously I had found a PDA in a circular cave, inside the Symbiont in the Red Forest ( Video # 1405 ) that I thought was bugged or not used. The message on it was "Sid_Stashes_Emptyinherited_Name" which made no sense. What I did not realize at the time, was finding the PDA actually activated a stash in the Red Forest with the same name. It was at the Bulldoser Cave and it was time to go see what the contents were.
