40th William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition

Each year, NEOMED receives hundreds of entries from across the U.S. and Canada for the William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition. The competition is named for the iconic American poet and physician, who is celebrated for his humanistic and patient-centered values as a practitioner and the spare, imagistic style of his poems. Entries are judged by the Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University.
