Wuthering Heights was the lead single from Kate Bush's debut studio album, The Kick Inside (1978), and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. Breathing was the lead single from Bush's third studio album, Never For Ever (1980). Salvant released a studio version of Wuthering Heights on her sixth studio album, Ghost Song (2022). Salvant is a Grammy Award winning jazz vocalist from Miami, Florida.
