From what we can tell, it looks like Remington Outdoors Group, former Freedom Group, has shut down operations of Bushmaster, DPMS and TAPCO. We don't know exactly why just yet, but many suspect its due to the litigation that's ongoing against them for the use of a Bushmaster AR15 at Sandy Hook. With the Bushmaster ACR gone from production, they're now going to join the ranks of modern day collectibles. Hopefully the ACR stock remains in production as its one of the best stocks on any modern rifle.
