Welcome to today’s tutorial! In this video, we’ll guide you step by step through the basic setup of the Colorlight VX10 LED controller. If you are new to LED control systems or working on professional display projects, this video will help you quickly understand the VX10’s setup process, connection architecture, and key functions. Before diving into the actual configuration, it’s essential to understand the overall connection architecture of the VX10 system: The computer connects to the VX10 via LAN for control. The video source delivers signals through HDMI. The VX10 drives the LED screen by connecting to the receiving cards via Ethernet. To ensure proper communication, make sure that both the VX10 and the computer are in the same network segment. The LAN port is the primary control channel. You can adjust the network settings directly from the VX10 front panel. Step 1 – Device Connection Connect the VX10 to the computer using a network cable. Confirm both devices are on the same subnet. Open iSet software and click Detect to view device information and configure parameters. Step 2 – Parameter & Configuration The VX10 uses iSet software for: Parameter delivery Connection configuration Signal source setup Alternatively, you can also configure these settings through the VX10’s web interface. Step 3 – Firmware Upgrade For updating receiving card firmware, use the LE Upgrade software via the VX10.
