Wooden ring: https://shorturl.at/O2Srz Wooden bead: https://shorturl.at/cWkUy (for eyes) Wooden bead: https://shorturl.at/DEgeC (for beak) Clothing Stand: https://shorturl.at/YZKao Chapters: 00:00 - Intro 00:12 - Materials needed 00:29 - Making the owl's body 28:30 - Ears 30:11 - Wings 34:12 - Eyes, beak 40:07 - Adjusting the wings 41:36 - Hanger 42:29 - Finish Materials needed: 5 mm braided cotton cord 5 mm single twist cord Cotton candy ( recycled cotton) Scissors Tape measure Wooden ring ( 5.5 cm ~ 2.16”) Wooden bead ( two for the eyes 0.5 cm (0.19”), one for the beak 2cm (0.78”)) Fabric Glue Hot glue gun Pet hair brush Large needle (for yarn) Square Knot: 1.Start with four cords. 2. Bring the left cord over and to the right of the two anchor cords. 3. Place the right cord over the left cord. 4. Bring the right cord under the anchors and through the loop formed by the left cord. 5. Pull and you have the first half of the Square Knot. 6. Bring the right cord over and to the left of the two anchor cords and place the left cord over it. 7. Bring the left cord under the anchors and through the loop formed by the right cord. 8. Pull the cords and you have the finished Square Knot. Double half hitch knots: 1.Choose a static cord to tie the Hitches around. Hold the static cord at the desired angle of the “line” you wish your knots to form when finished. 2.Using the next available hanging cord tie a Half Hitch around the static cord twice. 3.Pull to tighten the knots and move them to the desired position whilst still holding your static cord at the desired angle Horizontal Lark’s Head Knot is usually made in two steps: First, pull the cord down from above the holding cord – the loop goes over the base cord and comes back underneath. Second, pull the cord up from below the holding cord – this time the loop goes under the base cord and comes back over the top. Wrapping knot: 1.Take your wrap strand and make a u-shape over your other strands. 2.Take the long end, wrap it around all of your strands, trapping the u. 3. Keep wrapping the long tail about 4-5 times around. 4. Take the long strand and pass it through the u. 5. To complete the knot, pull on the shorter strand which will trap the longer strand underneath the knot.
