How to install a Maxfan with NO POWER TOOLS & no screws thru the roof

Installed on my 2004 Sprinter. Used butyl tape and Dicor lap sealant caulk, and oven spray to clean. The ribs are no problem, no need for a "roof adapter flange", just build up the butyl tape to a flat surface. Notice I drilled zero holes; the caulk keeps it in place and I tethered it to the body with paracord just in case. It's been leak free through many torrential downpours. I will add a thick steel bar with plusnuts in case a tweaker tries to climb through.
