TODAY: We take a break from the long season of “After Pentecost” to celebrate the Feast of All Saints, remembering especially our "local saints" who are the pillars of our faith community. As we do so, we welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ from First Presbyterian Church, remembering our common roots from a past generation in which Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Baptists, Congregationalists, and Methodists all called the Old Ship Zion Meeting House on Public Square their shared spiritual home and place of prayer! St. Stephen's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Church 35 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 The Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem We are currently in a time of transition as we anticipate with our increased diocesan family the 2026 initiation of The Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna, a reunification of the Dioceses of Bethlehem and Central Pennsylvania! The new diocese shall have four Cathedrals (technically two Cathedrals and two Pro-Cathedrals – Nativity (Bethlehem), St. Stephen’s (Harrisburg), St. Stephen’s (Wilkes-Barre), and Trinity (Williamsport). As we prepare for this reunified diocese, we are now in a sibling parish relationship with our sister Pro-Cathedral parish family in Williamsport!
