Various of ruins STORYLINE: Donetsk People's Militia infantry units, supported by tanks, advanced through residential areas around the Azovstal factory on Mariupol's left bank on Sunday. Eighteen-year-old Vladislav was studying to be a tractor driver when he got called up to the frontlines. "I wasn't hiding from it. I came on my own, a volunteer," he said. He did expect things to move faster, however. "The Ukrainians are prepared fighters. NATO trained them well all right," admitted Vladislav.
