In this video I go over and explain how to build your own WaveBlaster 1 hood strut kit. This makes working on your blaster way better and you look like a pro when you open your hood and the beach. No more worrying about the hood falling on you. I made a list of everything you need to build your own along with where I purchased it from. (1) 1 in. x 36 in. Aluminum Flat Bar with 1/8 in. Thick (2) 5/16 in.-18 Stainless Steel Nylon Lock Nut (4) #10-24 Stainless Steel Nylon Lock Nut (4) #10-24 x 3/4 in. Phillips Flat Head Stainless Steel Machine Screw (8) #10 1/2 in. Stainless Steel Flat Washer (4) 5/16 in. Stainless Steel Flat Washer (2) EM Ball Stud Joint 10mm=(3/8") 3 Hole Mount L Bracket (2) AA Ball Stud 10mm=(3/8") 5/16 X 18 (2) StrongArm Back Glass Lift Support: 19.7" Ext Length, 7.95" Travel, 31 Lbs of Force All the hardware I got from Home Depot, but you could get it from any hardware store. Just make sure you get stainless steel, it is a Jetski lol. The ball stud joint were all purchased from lift support depot .com. I found it cheapest from them and again everything was stainless. As for the struts I just bought them from advanced auto but again you can get them from anywhere or any auto part store up to you. I just thought that this would be easiest to list out for people. This way they have a check list of what to buy to build their own. All in, it cost me roughly $74 to do this. To me I think that’s way better than rad dudes kit at $182 and Blowsion at $150. Please like and subscribe for more Jetski videos, especially the old two strokers! Need to keep them alive.
