Cassandra Fox Dances to "Basbousa"

Here is "Violette Jardin" in action now. Violette Jardin was completed in June 2023, here it is now, this was filmed in December 2025 One thing I decided to do with this video series going over the costumes I have made since having my son and having to replace my entire rotation was be more efficient time wise. One way I decised to do that was that all videos for each costume had to be one take. One take talking about it and one take dancing to a song in it. Admittedly the main motivation for this was because I have limited time, the second is because I think in a world with so much editing and "highlight reels" it is more helpful and more authentic to do it all in one take and what happens, happens lol. Suffice to say that there videos won't be perfect but they will be "present in the moment" :) So for this costume I decided on Basbousa by Gizira Band because I hadn't danced to it for awhile and it used to be a favourite. I also thought it would be fun for some skirt work too and really wanted to highlight the skirt and its movement for its video.
