We are out testing my new Nikon Z8, a camera I have tested in the past and continually returned to using the Fotodiox 4x5 adapter. I'll be using the Chamonix F2 and my Fuji 180mm as a really big and cumbersome lens to photograph some panoramas of an old train. I love photography like this since I was not expecting to stumble across this subject, and instead of exploring the town like I had intended, I spent my entire time absorbed with this train! I'm not sure the practical purpose of using a digital camera to work with a large format film camera, but it sure is fun! Along the way, I'll be explaining the issue with perspective distortion and how using a view camera or any type of tilt/shift lens can resolve it.
